Founded in 2012, Crescendo Equity Partners (“Crescendo”) is a technology sector-focused private equity firm sponsored by Peter Thiel, a technology entrepreneur and investor. The firm specializes in buyout and growth capital opportunities in mid-cap technology companies in Korea or with strong nexus with Korea.

Crescendo seeks to hire an Intern with a strong background in finance and a degree in business, economics, or applied science. The program will last for 3 months. 

Job Description (Client Solutions Intern / in-person / 3 months)

1.  Position Description

‒     Research:

• Collaborate with senior team members to review and update fund-related documents including Private Placement Memoranda (PPM) and fundraising proposals.

‒    Investor Presentations:

• Work closely with the client solutions team to create engaging and informative presentations for potential investors.
• Develop content that highlights the fund’s investment strategy, track record, team expertise, and competitive advantages.

‒    Data Analysis and Reporting:

• Analyze fund performance data, investment metrics, and financial statements.
• Generate reports and summaries for internal and external stakeholders.

2. Qualifications & Requirements

‒       Strong work ethic, an entrepreneurial spirit; desire to learn

‒       Strong interpersonal and communication skills

‒       Excellent working knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint

‒       Proficiency in spoken and written English and Korean       

‒       Able to work in-person for 3 months

Prior work experience in investment banking or consulting is a plus
